Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 July 2026

1. Who we are

CALMFAX is a trading name of Project Forward Technologies Ltd (Company Number 16873528) ("we", "us"). By using CALMFAX (the "Service") you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

CALMFAX is a calm, teletext-styled daily dashboard showing weather, headlines from feeds you choose, a daily quiz, a daily thought and a private page you can author. The Service is provided free of charge and may change over time.

3. Your account

You may use CALMFAX with an anonymous account, or sign in with Google to access it across devices. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for keeping any sign-in credentials secure. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the Settings page.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Please see our Acceptable Use policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Third-party content

News headlines and weather come from third-party sources. We do not control and are not responsible for that content, and its availability may change without notice.

6. Intellectual property

CALMFAX, its design and its software are owned by Project Forward Technologies Ltd. Content you create on your private page remains yours; you grant us the permissions needed to store and display it back to you.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, accurate or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and termination

We may update, suspend or discontinue the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
